An 8-week-old kitten presented with symptoms; lethargic, not eating, lateral recumbancy, vomitting and was found to have an unilateral hydronephrosis. Afterwards X Rays and blood work were performed for further diagnosis of this uncommon illness. He is currently on I/V fluids since yesterday, while his BUN and Crea is being checked regularly. With a rare diagnosis a recommendation was made for an emergency animal hospital visit (we can fax records, just ask!). Dr's notes: Adv for U/S and Pyelography. Referred the kitten to AEC.

Comments:
This was a rare case history, even to diagnose this case is difficult.
Latest report is that kitten is doing great. They choose not to go to AEC. The antibiotics worked and kitten is back to life.
