DUE TO COVID WE HAVE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED THIS SERVICE

Here at Bayshore Veterinary Clinic, we offer boarding for our patients whose owners need to leave town. Our kennels are bright and clean. Each pet receives daily individual attention. Each dog is walked at least 3 times a day, and each cat receives new litter everyday. Large dogs always receive a kennel run, which measures 6 feet tall, 3 feet wide and 5 feet deep. Small dogs and cats receive an area about 3x3x3 feet. And the best thing about boarding your pet at our animal hospital is that if there is ever a medical issue that arises, our doctors are on site to diagnose and treat immediately. A true worry free environment while you are away!

There are some important things to keep in mind when using our boarding facilities. All pets must be current on vaccinations to stay here. They should also be current on worm and parasite prevention. We encourage people to bring their pet’s own food because sometimes an abrupt change in food and environment can be stressful for your dog or cat. If you choose not to bring food to our vet clinic, we will decide on an age appropriate diet. Please bring any medicine your pet needs. (Administering medicine is not an additional charge). To ensure proper cleanliness in our hospital, the bedding and dishes are cleaned and changed on a regular basis. Therefore, we tend to discourage bringing your little buddy’s blankets, bedding and bowls.

We also may need you to sign a form or two, update contact info or verify medical history or feeding routine. So please allow yourself an extra minute when you arrive for these possibilities.
